Villa San Michele, Florence
Join us for an event like nothing you have experienced to date as we deliver a truly unique program in a truly unique venue. The Villa San Michele could easily be one of the most romantic places in the world. This former monastery, nestled on a hilltop surrounded by trees and terraced gardens, overlooks the city of Florence below and boasts a view that has been described as one of the best in Europe. Florence is the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany. The city lies on the Arno River and is known for its history and its importance in the Middle Ages and in the Renaissance, especially for its art and architecture.
Dating from the 15th century the Villa San Michele's facade is attributed to Michelangelo. To step inside is to experience the ethereal beauty and solitude of a renaissance building that is as much a part of Italy's culture as the country’s greatest cathedrals and galleries. Here, each visitor is a privileged guest, invited to stroll in the Italian gardens, filled with lemon trees and roses, and savour the superb Tuscan cuisine on the alfresco loggia as if in a private home.
> Villa San Michele provides a courtesy scheduled shuttle bus to Florence's shopping and historical center, just 14 minutes away.
> Unlimited complimentary Full American buffet breakfast with choice of hot dishes à la carte, to enjoy in the restaurant or in your room (at no additional charge)
> WI-FI broadband Internet connection complimentary in all rooms and public areas
